About me:
For most of my life, I have enjoyed making greeting cards for family and friends. I would use the normal media of the day…tag board, construction paper, scissors, glue, crayons, magic markers, etc. When the age of computers arrived, I discovered software could substitute for a lot of these "messy" tools and scanning images added even more creative possibilities. This was not only fun, it greatly increased my greeting card output, and I accumulated a large collection of customized and original digital images. The 1990's saw the explosion of the Internet and like a lot of people I became fascinated with Web site development. It was time to make a move "outside the box."
About CastleJB.com :
CastleJB.com has been on the Internet since the winter of 1999-2000. Although my original intent was to simply share my images, CastleJB.com has evolved into more of a demonstration and tutorial site. The site is divided into two major areas:
Web Design and Tutorials: This section includes information about designing Web pages and tutorials for using specific software.
Graphics Section: This section includes images created by me (JB Pages) and my daughter, Kathy, (KB Pages). Some of the images are presented in "before and after" versions to give you an idea what has been done to them.
JB Pages: These images have been created from black and white outlines found in coloring books or on the Internet. Unlike my daughter, I need a jumping off point for my images.
KB Pages: These images are made from Kathy's original drawings. At times, I have performed some customization/manipulation for the Web site version.
About the other Sites:
www.juneburkedesigns.com A few years ago, I began designing Web sites. My customers are primarily small and emerging businesses and non-profit organizations. This is a link to my design site. It is currently still undergoing redesign.
www.sadhara.com Kathy is also a talented guitarist, songwriter and lyricist. This is a link to her Web site. Visitors can listen to her music, buy a CD and see some interesting artwork.
Hope you enjoy. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
